Mixed up

Becky gets hired by her roommate's dad to evict coffee shop owner Jake but she's falling for him. The confrontation over the secret occurs earlier than most movies, a little over half way. Up until then the story is pretty tame. The only exception I'll get to. After the confrontation things go a little crazy. The ending makes no sense in so many ways.

The Santa who rings his bell outside the coffee shop thinks he is the real thing. And he knows a lot of things about people that he should have no way of knowing and this from early in the movie.

Chemistry between the leads? Maybe. Problem is they didn't do that much together.
