One Dark Night: An Interview with Craig Stearns (2017)
*** (out of 4)
Production Designer Craig Stearns is the subject of this featurette as he talks about his work on the 1982 horror film ONE DARK NIGHT. He starts off talking about how he ended up doing production design and then from here we get into the making of the movie. He tells some pretty good stories about his idea for the film and how he had to work closely with the director Tom McLouglin. If you're a fan of the movie then you'll certainly enjoy the stories that were told here as it gives you an interesting idea of what it was like to do Stearns job and the various issues that would come up with low-budget movies. There's even a fun connection to a certain Tobe Hooper film that was popular at the time.
