Oh dear...

So, there are groups in society that have the odds stacked against them. However hard they try to stay on the straight and narrow - fate and circumstance will lead them down a path of crime.

The statement bares validity and raises cause for concern. With that comes an opportunity for decent filmmaking. An opportunity that was totally and utterly wasted.

The potential of weaving a fabric from dysfunctional aspects of society and conveying an important message is railroaded by an; exaggerated, improbable and borderline impossible chain of events.

Pushing the boundaries of the probable has the upside of being able to create good drama - another opportunity that was missed.

All in all; Den Enda Vägen mostly resembles a high school project. High school is also where it may end up - as an example... of how not to make film.
