Simple story beautifully directed.

Agnihotra is tradition kept by a family whose job is to keep agni (fire) alive when there were no easy means of creating fire. Aghnihotri's also worship Lord Ganesh.

As time passes by, tradition of agnihotra becomes irrelevant in modern days. Aghnihotri children finds new ways to earn money and gets scattered away. Neel, son of Chintamani Agnihotra, is very much interested in his family tradition and history. He keeps searching for the mysteries created by his grandfather Appa.

Everyone is this serial play marvelous role. Especially Sharad Ponkshe, playing Mahadev Agnihotri. This was one of the popular TV series at that times.
