Francis Bordeleau is a Montreal filmmaker born in 1992. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Politics from the University of Montreal, he further pursued his studies with a Master's degree in Communication Sciences.
In 2016, Francis Bordeleau wrote, directed, and produced his first short film, "Iceland," which was showcased at the ShortFilm Corner in Cannes. That same year, he wrote and directed "Carnasse," an ambitious short film that received the Audience Gold Award for Best Short Film at the Fantastique weekend of Quebec cinema during the Fantasia Festival.
In 2018, his first feature film, "Wolfe," distributed by TVA Films, was released in Quebec theaters. The film garnered attention for its impressive cast and strong imagery.
In 2021, he directed the music video "Néoréalité" for internationally renowned pianist Steve Barakatt, Knight of the National Order of Quebec and UNICEF ambassador. The video has been presented at numerous major concerts across Europe and Asia. That same year, he directed "VLAD," the runway show for the summer 2022 collection by Montreal designer MRKNTN, a contestant on Season 3 of "Making the Cut" produced by Amazon Prime. In winter 2023, he began filming his second feature film, "Anna Kiri Superstar," distributed by FilmOtion International.
