Fanny Mazoyer was born in Paris in 1986. After obtaining a BSc in Mathematics in 2008 at the Paris 6 University and a BA in Cinema in 2011 at the Paris 8 University, she joined the National Engineering School of Louis Lumière in 2011, in the film department. She directed several short films, fiction and documentary, including « Compositions », nominated for the festival « In the footsteps of my uncle » in Saint Maur in 2012, but also « White Hour », a short fiction film shot on 35mm film.
For her final study, she did an exchange in Sydney, Australia, where she took part in the Masters of Screen Arts at AFTRS (Australian, Film, Television and Radio School) and participated in short fiction film as Director of Photography.
Back in France, Fanny graduated from the ENS Louis Lumière in 2014 and is currently a cinematographer but also a colorist on fiction projects and documentary series.
Alongside her projects as a cinematographer and colorist, Fanny makes films in animation stop motion, including « Qui sème de la poussière récolte du phytoplancton » which received the Jury Prize at « Festival Doc'Up », in 2011 and was nominated for the festival « Taste of science »s in 2012, and also « Don't trifle with aerosols », which received the 2nd prize at « CLER OBSCUR » festival in 2013 and was presented to « Pariscience festival » in 2014.
