Brett Neichin is the writer/creator of the fiction podcast, The Cipher, from BBC Sounds. Starring Anya Chalotra (The Witcher) and Chance Perdomo (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), The Cipher was nominated for a Webby Award in 2021 as "Best Fiction Podcast" of the year. It was called "a global podcast phenomenon" by writer Mike Avila of SyFy Wire and is frequently ranked one of the best fiction podcasts of all time.
Neichin is also the writer of the fiction podcast Tagged, which topped the Apple fiction charts in the US and UK. He also wrote the 5 part scripted podcast SteelHeads, starring Jessica Barden (End of the F***ing World), as well as the "video game adventure" series Restart.
Neichin also wrote and created the hit Audible Original series Young Blood, and his newest project is the horror series The Sisters, from Realm.
Brett is the Co-Founder of the scripted podcast production company, Lights Out Audio. Lights Out was formed in collaboration with John Scott Dryden of Goldhawk Productions.
On the TV and film side, Brett has developed projects with Josh and Jonas Pate (Outer Banks), Adam Wingard (King Kong) as well as numerous Hollywood production companies like Amblin, Vertigo, Darkhorse, PictureStart, Hartbeat, Film Nation, and many others.
Brett is represented by Ben Davis, Matthew Balick, and CJ Fight of WME. As well as Benjamin Blake and Mikhail Nayfeld from Heroes and Villains Entertainment.
