Matthew Patrick Braun

Matthew Patrick Braun was born in Pasadena CA, to Albert and Mary Ellen Braun. Born the seventh of eight children Matthew grew up in La Canada CA. Matthew began acting at a young age doing print work and small appearances in film and television. It wasn't until his senior year of high school that Matthew decided to take acting on as a career. After studying acting in northern CA at the Pacific Conservatory for the Performing arts Matthew moved back to Los Angeles where he found work as a camera assistant for TV and Film while he studied acting under Juilliard graduates Tom Todoroff and Diane Venora. After completing roles in a slew of theater productions in Los Angeles CA, ranging from the works of Chekov to John Patrick Shanley, Matthew Patrick Braun has gone on to book roles in Film and TV as well as over a dozen national commercials. In 2004 Matthew had the pleasure of acting alongside legendary director Martin Scorcese in the American Express commercial "One Hour Photo" for the Tribeca Film Festival. As an actor Matthew has been incredibly fortunate to work with directors Martin Scorcese , Jim Jenkins and Stephen Kesslar to name a few. Matthew lives in Los Angeles CA, with his beautiful wife Hannah Gere , and works as an actor , writer and television producer.
