Daniel Raymond O'Brien holds a B.F.A. in Screenwriting from
N.Y.U./Tisch School of the Arts. He works as a script doctor and
screenwriter-for-hire in the NYC film scene, including feature
commissions for Vanguard Films, Calico Productions, and Tashmoo Films.
His play "Guernica" won first place at Actors Theatre of Louisville's
One-Act Play contest, with subsequent productions in Louisville, L.A.,
Chicago, and NYC. Other works have received full production in New York
City, including "Night Bus," at the TriBeCa Lab; "Delirium," at the
Village Theatre Company and Theater-Off-Park; "Full Tilt: A Love Story"
at the Greenwich Street Theatre; "savior" at Manhattan Ensemble
Theatre; and, most recently, "savior" again, at the Midtown
International Theater Festival, where it received rave reviews.
Daniel is the author of the musical "Angelina" with composer Elyssa Samsel. He also works as an actor.
