Eliana Ujueta is a native New Yorker and was raised in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn. Eliana was accepted into the School of Visual Arts as an M.F.A. candidate - in the department Photography, Video and Related Media. Focusing on the video track, she was inspired by her thesis advisor to direct her first feature - Beneath the Rock, which she wrote, directed and produced.
