Alex Ferns nasceu o 13 de outubro de 1968 no Reino Unido. É ator e produtor, conhecido pelo seu trabalho em Feliz Natal (2005), Batman (2022) e EastEnders (1985). É casado com Jennifer Woodburne e tem dois filhos.
Served for two years in the South African Defence Force in 1988/1989 as a Gunner in the 2nd Special Services Battalion (2 SSB) and was renowned by his fellow brothers in arms as a "hell raiser of epic proportions".
