Has won Broadway's Best Orchestrations Tony Award three times: twice in
collaboration with Ralph Burns, in 1999 for "Fosse" and in 2002 for
"Thoroughly Modern Millie;" and once on his own in 2001 for "The
Producers, the new Mel Brooks musical." He was nominated for the award
in 2000 for "The Music Man."
