Navya La Shay

5/10/2024 A life in the arts. Navya (her chosen name) started dance as a child, with music classes, fine art classes. Moving into musical theatre as a teen. Navya attended Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in the Young Peoples program while a senior in high school then on the the adult program. Time living in NYC, Boston, LA, NM and back to the NYC area. Former member of IATSE 798 AND 480 as a makeup artist. overlapping makeup with on camera, then behind camera fully for 23 years. Navya came back on camera in 2016 and currently is focused on her on camera work and is retired from the makeup profession as of 2020. Navya joined SAG in 1979 . Navya is interested in East Asian culture and would like to work on camera in South Korea and Japan. Favorite Drink: Hojicha
