- Actor, singer. He graduated from the Maritime School in Tczew in 1926 as a mechanic officer. In 1927-32 he performed at the Polish Theater in Katowice as an apprentice chorister and attended the drama school run by M. Szpakiewicz, taking singing lessons at the same time. In the 1932/33 season he performed at the Municipal Theater in Vilnius. From 1933 until the outbreak of the war, he was a conductor of concert and jazz orchestras and a chorus player on Polish transatlantic ships. During World War II, he worked in a factory in Sosnowiec. In 1945-47 he performed at the Silesian Theater in Katowice, in the 1947/48 season at the Municipal Theater in Bialystok, in 1948-55 at the Polish Theater in Poznan. From 1955 he performed in Lódz: in 1955-58 at the State Operetta, in the 1958/59 season at Estrada, and from 1959 until the end of his life at the Lódz Land Theater.
