Youngest of 2 children, and only son born to Terrence and Marie Duffy. Patrick was born in Montana, where his parents owned local taverns, and raised in Everett, Washington, since age 12. He wanted to become a professional athlete, and became a certified scuba diver while in his teens. However, his involvement in his high school's drama department led him to apply to the Professional Actors Training Program at the University of Washington, Seattle. He was one of 12 people accepted, from over 1,200 applicants. He ruptured both of his vocal cords during his senior year of college, but he created the position of actor-in-residence, where he worked as an interpreter for ballet, opera, and orchestra companies in Washington. He also taught mime and movement classes. Around this time, he met his wife, Carlyn, a ballet dancer with the First Chamber Dance Company of New York. Carlyn introduced Patrick to Buddhism, which he has practiced for the past 30 years. The couple married in a Buddhist temple in 1974. They then moved to New York, where Patrick appeared in Off-Broadway plays, and supported himself and his wife by working as a carpenter. The couple then moved to Hollywood, where he drove a florist's delivery truck, and landed small roles in film and television. His son, Padraic Duffy, was born in 1974/5. In 1976, Patrick was working as a house painter when he landed the role of "Mark Harris" in the TV series Man from Atlantis (1977). Two years later, he won the role of "Bobby Ewing" on Dallas (1978). His second son, Conor Duffy, was born in 1979/80. In 1986, his parents were murdered by 2 teenagers who raided their tavern in Montana. Patrick has continued to work, however, starring in a variety of TV movies, and as "Frank Lambert" on his third TV series, Step by Step (1991). Since SBS was canceled in 1997, Patrick has continued to pursue his TV career, which includes 2 Dallas reunion movies and the revival series Dallas (2012). Widowed in 2017, he splits his time between Los Angeles and southern Oregon.- Director

Alan James was born on 23 March 1890 in Port Townsend, Washington, USA. He was a director and writer, known for Flying Lariats (1931), When a Man Sees Red (1934) and The Mystery Box (1925). He was married to Marguerite 'Myme' Foss. He died on 30 December 1952 in Hollywood, California, USA.- Growing up, Wayne Bastrup was never the first up on a stage. More inclined to play sports, build a tree house, or get lost in a good book, acting would become the antidote for this shy, introverted, kid from a small, working class Washington State town.
Early on, Wayne showed a particular passion and aptitude for the arts. He realized that through acting and music he could be emotional without consequence or judgement, and found that drawing, photography and design were outlets for personal expression. Although he studied acting, he chose architecture as his college major. He also taught himself the drums. He would graduate from the University of Washington with a Masters in Architecture.
While Wayne found work as an architect, he continued to act in a variety of local independent films and commercials. He also found time to pursue music. In 2008 he founded the Seattle based rock band 'Gunbunny' and played professionally throughout the West Coast, opening for many well-known national acts.
In 2009 he booked a role on TNT's Leverage, opposite Academy award-winning actor Timothy Hutton. Soon after, Wayne decided to leave the Pacific Northwest and head for Hollywood. He began training at the prestigious Actors Workshop with RJ Adams and Rob Adams, embracing their 'Meissner' approach.
Over the last few years, he has successfully appeared, and starred, in a plethora of award-winning films and TV shows. Ahead of his most recent role in Paramount Studios Terminator Genysis, some of his credits include: Leverage, Awake, Whitney, CSI: NY, Radio America, and The Mentalist. He can also be seen in the up and coming Bill Pohlad (12 Years A Slave) directed feature Love and Mercy. Wayne is represented by Scott Vandiver of Spotlight Management.
When not filming or traveling, Wayne spends time with his family, hiking the Hollywood Hills with their dog Maple, a Chihuahua-Beagle mix the family rescued from an animal shelter in Los Angeles. Wayne is an advocate for animal rights and supports The Humane Society of the United States as well as the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. - Actor
