Anas Ba-Tahaf is a Yemeni multi-hyphenate filmmaker , born and based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He's versed as a Director, Producer, Writer and Editor.
His professional trajectory started from as young as 13, working on major local commercial sets, equipping himself with extensive hands-on experience in various filmmaking fields. During his school years, Anas directed several YouTube series - which garnered over 30 million views.
Right after highschool, he worked on "Barakah Meets Barakah", Saudi Arabia's official submission for 2017 Oscars - as Editor and 1st AD. Following that, he produced "Amra and the Second Marriage" while writing his directorial feature film debut, "Fay's Palette".
In the realm of television, Anas directed "Breaking Through Light", the Saudi episode in Shahid's anthology "Nemra 2" among big names in the region, such as Tamer Mohsen, Hadi Bagouri, and Tarek Ereyan. This would prepare to showrun and direct the celebrated commercial TV series, "Jameel Jeddan".
Anas is currently developing two TV series, under major international streamers, attached as a showrunner and director for both.
