Rae Benjamin is Los Angeles native and graduate of Loyola Marymount University. She transitioned into screenwriting after a career as a visual designer, working mostly in the tech and startup space. She is also the Founder and CEO of In the Cut (ITC), a company that provides training and resources for diverse writers and filmmakers. Since 2020, In the Cut has grown to a global community, hosting online and in-person events for more than 7,000 attendees.
