Christopher Power is a Canadian-born actor, voice artist, writer, producer, and host with a dynamic career across various media. Power began his journey in local community improv, quickly making his way to the renowned Second City stage in Toronto. Building on his success, he returned to his hometown to establish the sketch and improv group Ha Ha Halton. As the point man for six years, Power secured a television contract for the group, garnered local comedy awards, and led Ha Ha Halton on tour before passing the torch to Jeremy Hillhouse and his team.
Power co-founded M.C Storytelling, where his creative vision drove the production of award-winning films like Abstruse, Jitters, and Choking Hazard. His storytelling talent helped the company win over 50 awards. After M.C Storytelling closed its doors, Power joined Featherwing Films' Creative Content department, where he spearheaded the creation of The Puppeteer. The film earned over 25 awards, including "Best Canadian Film" at The Canadian Cinematographers Awards.
A prolific writer, Power has penned three feature films, four stage plays, and numerous sketches, many of which have been optioned and produced. His versatility extends to voice work, with his voice being heard on radio, television, podcasts, and audio-books. On-screen, he continues to captivate audiences in both television and film.
His latest project, Coffee with Chris, is a podcast that showcases intimate, conversational interviews, where Power connects with people over coffee, learning their stories one cup at a time. With more projects in the works, Christopher Power remains a driving force in the world of storytelling and performance.
