David Gilmore is both a physician and actor whose dream is to bring about change through both motivation and education. His interest in acting was spurred when he was cast as Charlie Bucket in his 3rd grade production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He has continued to act ever since. While in graduate school, David took acting classes and started modeling as a way to help pay expenses. Unfortunately, while in medical residency, he had to place all of his theatrical endeavors aside.
David would come to the realization that acting and theater were so much a part of him that he would need to find a way to reincorporate it back into his life after his medical training had been completed. So, following graduation from his residency program, he moved to Syracuse, NY where he would be able enroll back in school and formally study Theater all while maintaining full-time work as a physician. David would soon find his way back to the stage. But, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, all work would would come to a sudden halt. David would soon learn that this meant he would need to seek new doors to open and would soon rediscover the world of film-making. David's interest lies in incorporating his performance skills in generating public interest in science and medicine as well as the pursuit of the betterment of life, in general. To date, David remains New York based but works jobs across the entire eastern half of the United States.
