LaTonya Michelle McElroy aka "Tonya Michelle", an African-American actress/model, only child from Detroit, Michigan.
Tonya Michelle started acting at the age of 5 in Detroit, Michigan where she earned her first paid acting gig at the Music Hall, in a stage play called "Regina" starring the legendary actor George Gaines. Wanting to finish school, she put acting on hold and started to pursue her other passion...modeling. Tonya Michelle modeled print and runway from 1986 to 2001. Just shy of 40 years later, she decided to give acting another try and introduced herself to Director and Producer Ant Green. Two years later, Tonya was in her first feature film "Last Words(2017)" as the character Roz, directed, written and produced by Ant Green. She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for Last Words in the Trinity Film Festival. Tonya continued to work with Ant on his next short film "Run" playing the character Kate. She then went on to play in the short film Directed and Written by Dre Sanford "Click, Cough, Croak (2018)" her first horror film which was submitted in the 48 Hour Film Festival in Michigan. You can also catch Tonya Michelle as a co-host "Round Midnight" Talk Radio 910AM Superstation with Detroit's own Comedian Mike Bonner. Tonya Michelle is doing it all as an actress, radio co-host and business owner and soon to produce her own short film. She is definitely one to keep an eye out for in the near future!
