Zara is a Canadian Actress of Persian & Filipino descent. Zara started as a child model at a young age of 4 and walked in Manila for Elle, Toy Kingdom, Philippine Fashion Week, and Philippine Fashion Awards. She has also print modeled for Ralph Lauren, Zara, Gap, Rustan's Kids, Ayala Malls Billboards, and Int'l bank HSBC. When the family moved to Canada, Zara continued modeling and has done runways for H&M and Cabriolle Luxury Couture for Vancouver Fashion Week.
In Manila, she began working on commercial for brands such as McDonalds, Safeguard, Swifts, Suncell Telecom, Vistaland Real Estate. In British Columbia, she pursued commercial projects such as BC Transit, Nature Trust of BC, Southlands Tsawassen of Centry Grp, and BC Children's Hospital.
Zara was recently cast as Victoria in a drama series recurring role in Paramount + Pictures "Happy Face" with Dennis Quaid, Annaleigh Ashford, Khiyla Aynne, Momona Tamada and Ava Telek. Hallmark's "Holidazed" comedy series also cast Zara as Stephanie with Bella Grace and Lennox Leacock. Zara's early roles are in Hallmark's "The Christmas House", with John Bennet, Rob Buckley, Ana Ayora, and Mattia Castrillo and "Deliver by Christmas" with Alvina August,
Zara's first break in a lead role was in an Int'l Filmfest Vancouver short film entry "Aperture", where she bagged 2 Best Child/Young Actress Awards from Oniros Awards, Italy & LA Int'l Filmest. Zara is the young daughter of a live-in maid portrayed by Aixa Kay. Aperture was directed by Hyomin Bong, son of multi-awarded Oscars & Cannes Best Director Bong Joon Ho of Best Film "Parasite", and produced by Moheb Jindran. It also gained special awards, citations & nominations in the European Cinematography Awards, New York & Stockholm Film Festivals. Soon after, Zara landed in lead roles of other Int'l Filmfest hopefuls Beyond Saturn, Leo, Sabicha, Heliophilia, and Mama's Song.
New York based La Belle Kidz & Teen Fashion Magazine featured Zara in their Cover Story, Fashion editorial & as The Big Dreamer, while Junior Style London did a Fashion editorial.
