Angel R. Reed is an award winning actress, writer, and filmmaker. Her love for acting began in 5th grade when she joined her 1st drama club. From there Angel has been booked in major films, independent films, commercials, music videos, stage-plays and more.
Some of Angel's recent work has been in the JG Wentworth Viking opera commercials as Freda, in Investigation Discovery channels "American Detective" as Angel, in TV One channels "For My Man" as Sierra, In Netflix "Unsolved Mysteries" as Daphney, in Nick Cannon's "Wild N' Out" tour, and as Alicia Jennings in "Embrace the Twilight", which was originally a book written by The New York Times Best Selling author Maggie Shayne.
The history-making short film "I Am My Sister's Keeper" won grand prize in the High Arts Festival, in which Angel was the filmmaker, director, writer, and a supporting actress! That was the 1st year a female ever won that title and also the 1st year a Black person ever won the grand prize title in the film category!
