- Brett Benowitz is an award winning musician and actor based in LA. He began acting and making music at age 7 and followed his passion all the way to NYC after he graduated from The University of Georgia. He cut his teeth in the NYC acting and music scene where he worked as a bike messenger, played tons of gigs with his band, toured the country, and performed in Off Broadway shows, regional shows, and national tours.
Brett is a seasoned stage actor and a member of Actors' Equity Association. In 2019 he moved to California to perform as Carl Perkins in the hit musical Million Dollar Quartet. Following the show's successful run, Brett moved to LA just as the pandemic hit. Despite the drastic slowdown in the industry, Brett managed to book a supporting role in the feature film Alabama Rose (Prime Video), a national commercial for Remy Martin working alongside Usher, Two Super Bowl commercials in 2022, and the leading role in The Wedding Singer The Musical at Moonlight Amphitheater. Most recently, Brett appeared in TV Show "Wild West Chronicles" on INSP TV as "Grissom" the outlaw.
As a musician, Brett won the Fender Player Plus Studio Session Contest for LA in 2021 and got to record two songs at the legendary East West Studios in Hollywood and also received a brand new Telecaster. He is the lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter of his rock band and has a die hard following in LA where he has headlined classic LA venues such as The Viper Room, Hotel Cafe, Aviator Nation Dreamland, and many more. In 2024 Brett released one song a month that brought him nearly 400k streams on Spotify.
