Sanjay Nambiar(II)
- Actor
Sanjay grew up in Carson, California, where he overcame a gang- and drug-riddled environment with the help of a close-knit family and a focus on education. As an actor, he combines comedic and dramatic talents, professionalism, and a wealth of life experiences to make each performance and character come alive with super warm energy, impeccable timing, quick wit, and emotive facial expressions.
He has worked with several industry icons and legends, including: Jean Smart, Kiernan Shipka, Alexandra Daddario, Reid Scott, and an all-star cast on the feature film "Wildflower" directed by Matt Smukler; Patricia Arquette and director Jay Roach on the Apple+ series "High Desert"; "Flo" and the Progressive Insurance team on a prominent national commercial; James Maslow and director V.W. Scheich in the feature film "Stars Fell Again"; "Doggy Bank" directed by Thales Correa; "The Friggin Best" directed by Mary Gulino; and "Escape Party" directed by Gabe Montero (for which he won the Best Ensemble Cast award at the Austin Micro Short Film Festival), among many other projects.
Sanjay honed his improv and comedy skills as a main stage performer at The Westside Comedy Theater in Santa Monica. A rare polymath who is equally right- and left-brained, Sanjay graduated with honors from UC Berkeley in Economics and Neurobiology, attended graduate school at UCLA, and also is a DJ and the author of five award-winning children's books. He now lives in Los Angeles with his wife and identical twin daughters. He is managed by Nelson Paredez-Parks at the ESI Network and is represented theatrically by Raphael Berko at Media Artists Group and Christine Tarallo at NOW Talent for commercial work.
