A Louisiana native, Ripley pursued an education in Environmental Science and Forestry before beginning her writing career. Now a full-time writer, Ripley has produced her own script into a short film, Creatura, which is currently in post-production, set to premier at the Louisiana Film Prize 2018. Also the author of several feature length scripts, multiple shorts, and fiction works, Creatura is the first of many productions and publications to come.
Unphased by the pessimism surrounding a dream career, Ripley has dedicated her life to "be a light to those in the dark," as tasked to her by her father before his passing.
