Better known as Riess/Hill, Chris Riess and Amy Hill are a married directing team and were the first duo/first female director ever nominated for the DGA Commercial Directing Award. The pair met at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and have garnered Effies, Clios and Webby awards for their work in addition to being a part of the New Directors Showcase at Cannes. Their combined abilities have given them the opportunity to work with numerous organizations including The American Heart Association, Human Rights Coalition, Salvation Army, St. Judes, Partnership for a Drug-Free America and many more. Major companies such as Pepsi, Bank of America, Siemens, P&G, USMC, Pfizer and Chase continue to work with them to create branded content. Their work has been nominated for "YouTube Ad of the Year" and their recent campaign for the AdCouncil has received over five million dollars in donated media. "Hula Girl" premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2018 and has played to audiences all over the world. In 2018 they were also selected by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee to help "flip the house" with a series of spots. They currently have the rights to Ron McClarty's highly acclaimed book "The Memory of Running," and have completed the screenplay based on the novel.
