PHAR (Raphaël Dargent) is a French composer based in Los Angeles. He graduated from the ESSEC business school in Paris and the University of Southern California in screen scoring after winning the Harry Warren scholarship and being admitted into the Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honor Society.
His compositions include soundtracks for the Cannes selected feature The Legend (2018), 2020 Oscar eligible short film Two (2019), Prime Video thriller Silent as the Grave (2023) and the Apple TV film The Actor (2024). Recently, his work on Why Dinosaurs? earned him Best Original Score for a documentary at the IFMCA (International Film Music Critics Association Awards).
