Born in Stoneham, Massachusetts and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Nichelle Wright enjoys a career as an actor, dancer, teacher, choreographer and assistant director. As a child she trained in Gymnastics, Dance and Ice Skating and at age 18 she moved to New York City in order to pursue her dreams of dancing in a Broadway show. Nichelle attended The Ailey School and graduated with a Certificate of Dance and also had the honor of being hand picked by renowned choreographer David Parsons to perform in the Millennial Times Square New Years Eve show as a principal dancer. She later went on to perform in both the Radio City Christmas Spectacular Show and in Disney's Broadway musical "The Lion King" as a principal dancer.
Ms. Wright currently resides in NYC where she continues to pursue her career in acting. She recently booked a co starring role as Nurse Beth in NBC's new hit fall drama New Amsterdam and a principal stunt role on TBS's hit comedy The Last OG. When she's not acting or dancing Nichelle enjoys horseback riding, Ice Skating and cooking in her downtime.
