She acted in Shepsu Aakhu's play, "Never the Milk and Honey," at the Ma'a Production Association of Afrikan Centered Theater in Chicago, Illinois with David Goodloe, Shariba Rivers and Darren Jones in the cast. Red Clay and Desta Sound were composers for original music in a play.
She was nominated for a 2018 Non-Equity Joseph Jefferson Award for Performer in a Supporting Role in a Play for "Surely Goodness and Mercy" at the Redtwist Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.
