Hold onto your seats. American Horror Stories has been renewed for a fourth season by FX on Hulu, and five new episodes will be released next month.

A supernatural horror drama series, the American Horror Stories TV show is a spin-off of the long-running American Horror Story anthology series which was created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. While American Horror Story tells tales that run for a full season of episodes, the spin-off is a weekly anthology series that features a different horror story in each episode. Some of the actors from the original AHS series take part in the spin-off. The cast of the series has included Nico Greetham, Cody Fern, Denis O'Hare, Teddy Sears, Gabourey Sidibe, Max Greenfield, Seth Gabel, Cameron Cowperthwaite, Spencer Neville, Rebecca Dayan, Austin Woods, Bella Thorne, Judith Light, Anthony De La Torre, Britt...

Exclusive: The independent film Mama Duck, a dark comedy written and directed by the award-winning team of Jack Gorman and Shannon Walsh, is set to begin production on July 6, 2024, in the Greater Los Angeles area. Catharine Daddario and Austin Woods are attached to star alongside Walsh.

Mama Duck follows Caeli (Walsh), an aspiring animator who moves across the country to escape her overbearing family. Her promising new start is derailed by the reappearance of her college sweetheart Sabrina (Daddario) and the news of her brother Jake’s (Woods) cancer diagnosis, forcing her to confront the delicate balance between her personal struggles and the pursuit of her dreams.

Mama Duck expands on the themes explored in Gorman and Walsh’s highly-acclaimed short, A Dinner. Gorman and Walsh were named Top 10 Filmmakers to Watch by the Hollywood Times ahead of the 2023 Los Angeles Independent Film Festival.

Pinnacle Peak Pictures is bringing a slate of faith-based films to the Cannes market, including a new installment in the “God’s Not Dead” franchise.

Entitled “God’s Not Dead: In God We Trust,” the film will be released theatrically in the U.S. this fall, but, like the rest of Pinnacle’s slate, foreign territories are available to buyers. The new “God’s Not Dead” film follows the series’ protagonist, Rev. David Hill (played once again by David A.R. White), who, with the help of a skilled political strategist, runs for political office on a platform of preserving “religious freedom” and healing divisions. The cast also includes Dean Cain, who appeared in the first film in the franchise and is best known for “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman,” as well as Isaiah Washington (“Grey’s Anatomy”) and Ray Wise (“X-Men: First Class”).

FX is bringing their spinoff series “American Horror Stories” back this month with a special four episode Halloween party, and the full official trailer has been unleashed today.

FX previews, “Dark, twisted tales are coming with a four-episode Huluween event from FX’s American Horror Stories. Premiering Thursday, October 26. Exclusively on Hulu.”

The episodes are titled “Daphne,” “Tapeworm,” “Organ” and “Bestie,” and you can preview all four brand new “freakish tales” by watching the official trailer down below.

Ryan Murphy’s spinoff “American Horror Stories” is coming back for Season 3, and Deadline reports this week that Lisa Rinna (“Real Housewives”) will appear in the new season.

Rinna will star in an episode of Season 3 titled “Tapeworm,” Deadline reports.

The site also notes, “Rinna has concluded most of the filming and is back in LA.”
