- Ryan M. Shaw is an American actor, composer, and director, known for playing heroes, rockers, psychos and anyone else with a lot of soul and a wavering grasp of reality. Born in Brooklyn, New York to Puerto Rican and Polish parents, Ryan grew up between New York, Puerto Rico, and Texas. After high school, he joined the Army National Guard. He spent 6 years as a Combat Infantryman and 240 Gunner, becoming known for his expert marksmanship and leadership skills.
Ryan studied acting on the GI Bill and booked Blue Bloods during his first year of school. He then went on to shoot a string of television shows and action films, leading to his breakout in Blowback.
