MARQUESE "KESE" DEESE is a writer and director originally from Lockhart, Tx, the BBQ capital, where he majored in being a 90s kid. To the detriment of his family, he was struck with the film bug as a teen, but with the high cost of film school, Kese was forced to use Borders Bookstore as his institution. Until Jeff Bezos ultimately killed it off.
Later, Kese spent his 20's as a college dropout, before taking his first writing class in 2013 with Joey Tuccio, where after years of hard work, he landed his first option in 2015. In 2019 his short film "Pour Over: A Coffee Short was awarded a scholarship by Kevin Smith to attend The VFS his alma mater. Kese is also the co-writer for "Summer With the Guys" (2023), co-produced by Dwayne Alexander Smith (Forty Acres, Netflix).
