Born in Russia, Anna grew up in Australia, where she signed with a prominent modeling agency. She became the face of Samsung in a national campaign for Samsung Australia. Anna studied acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney. Shortly after, she moved to New York, where she was cast in an independent feature film "Alina", directed by Ben Barenholtz.
