Emiliano Ruprah started out at Earth Touch, developing Nature and Archeology based programs for National Geographic, Travel Channel, Discovery, Smithsonian and the BBC. He eventually made the move to National Geographic, where he produced and directed over a dozen shows and series dealing with exploration, wildlife, and ethnography, documenting ancient traditions and cultures. While there, he developed and produced the award winning initiative Perpetual Planet with National Geographic Society and Rolex and led filming in Costa Rica, King George's Island and the Arctic. His wildlife films (Nomads and Epic Animal Migrations: Mexico) for Smithsonian Channel, were Nominated for an EMMY in 2020. His upcoming projects include a documentary for Netflix. He is a Mexican-American filmmaker and has filmed in 5 continents. He has also appeared on Discovery Channel as a TV presenter and is a Fellow at the prestigious Explorer's Club in NYC.
