Caroline McKenzie(IV)

Caroline McKenzie is a young actress from Birmingham, Alabama. She began acting in theater when she was just 7 years old. At 15 years old she realized film and television were her true calling. She began taking classes at a local studio and never looked back. She recently acted as the lead in a feature length film that is scheduled to come out later this year. Over the past 2 years she discovered her love for film and television expands past just acting and began writing her own short film as well as feature length films. In 2021 she wrote, directed, produced, and edited her own 5-minute short film entitled Type 2. Type 2 was intended to raise awareness for bipolar disorder as well as how toxic relationships can impact this disorder. She is currently working on her second short film which will be entitled Say Their Name which will be 15-minutes in length. This short film is set to be released in early May 2023. Caroline finds a passion in using film as an opportunity to raise awareness about matters that mean something to her or she believes need more light shined on them. She believes film is a means of opening peoples eyes and making the audience feel something. -Feb. 2023
