Luke Patrick began his acting journey under the guidance of acting coach and casting director Angie Christophell in his hometown of South Australia. Recognizing his raw talent early on, Angie, along with South Australian casting agent Angella Heesom, supported Luke in pursuing full-time acting education in Sydney and Melbourne.
Further training led Luke to Sydney, where he immersed himself in the Meisner technique at the Actors Pulse and worked with acting coach/actor Luke Ford, focusing on emotional preparation, script and character breakdown, and embodying characters. With a diverse range of techniques, including Chubbuck, Practical Aesthetics, and Stella Adler, Luke is dedicated to deepening his craft.
Luke has taken on various roles in television, film, short films, TV commercials, and web series. Notably, he played the core cast lead role of Frank Warner in the iconic New Zealand TV series "Shortland Street" from 2016 to 2020. In 2024, Luke starred as Lucas Wright in the feature film "Numbered Lives," alongside Jeremy Piven, solidifying his status as a luminary in the industry.
Luke splits his time between South Australia and New Zealand.
