Qianzi(Sophie) Gao is an award-winning director, and editor with well-established experience in both China and America. Her solid academic background and hands-on experience have honed her abilities to create, cooperate and motive in pursuit of the best version of the story.
Her films have been awarded from the Chinese America Film Festival, the biggest Chinese film festivals in the U.S, Santa Cruz Film Festival, WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival, Independent Short Awards Film Festival, Various Artist Independent Film Festival and many more. "One of the thousands" is also the official selection of Flickers' Rhode island international film festival, an Oscar and BAFTA-qualifying film festival.
As an Asian female filmmaker based in LA, she hopes to continue to address the themes of universal emotion which transcends cultures, borders, and religions all across the world.
