Alex Gullason

Alex is an actor, singer and improviser from North Vancouver, BC. She attended the Musical Theatre Program at Capilano University where she trained for three years before graduating with honors in 2012.
After graduation she became a familiar face to see on stage and was lucky enough to be a part of many incredible productions. Some of her favorite roles include Sophie in Mamma Mia with Chemainus Theatre and Amy in Company with Raincity Theatre. Her work in theatre has been recognized through multiple award nominations and an Ovation and Jessie Award win.
Alex pushes herself to constantly expand her skills and grow creatively which led her to improv comedy. She created a two-woman comedy duo called The Dangerous Janes (@thedangerousjanes) and performs with the main stage ensemble at the Improv Centre.
Alex has recently shifted her focus to film and television and has found great success. She landed a supporting role in the Hallmark movie of the week, Christmas in Tahoe. She has also worked on Riverdale, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Wilderness, Untold Stories of the ER and several commercials. Her skills in musical theatre helped her land a role in the Apple TV musical series Schmigadoon. The highlight of her career came the following year when she was offered a recurring role in Schmigadoon season 2 and had the opportunity to work alongside some of Broadway's best artists.
Although Alex's recent work has been on screen she is excited to return to the stage to play Sally Bowles in Raincity Theatre's upcoming production of Cabaret.
