A Silicon Valley Engineer turned Actor, Renu has trained with professors from the Yale Drama Program & the Drama Center of London, The Last Acting Studio in Los Angeles, and the Archibald Studio. On TV Renu can be seen on The CW's Dynasty, and on film she stars in Dosh, Those Seven Steps, A Newlywed Story, and appears in the winning HBO Visionaries film Halwa. In live performances, Renu graced the stage at the 2021 Morgan Wixson Theatre New Works Festival, was a finalist in the 2019 TCL Monologue Slam Competition, & has performed in the ABC Discovers Diversity Showcase.
In October 2023, Renu won the Best Actress Award for her lead role in Dosh at the New Renaissance Film Festival London. Recently, Renu also became a first time film maker and both Directed & Starred in "A Newlywed Story", releasing in 2024.
