Marcello Rossi(II)

Born in Rome, Marcello Rossi dedicated his professional life to science fiction and fantastic genres, with a special attention to television and movies. He wrote several award winning books and essays on the subject, including the "Enciclopedia della fantascienza in TV" (Encyclopedia of TV Science Fiction), the most complete work of its kind. He supervised the restoration and the Italian home video release of sci-fi television classics such as UFO, Space 1999 and The Twilight Zone. He wrote and produced several TV programs and documentaries dedicated to the fantastic genre, aired both by local and national networks. He has been consultant for the Italian version of Syfy (previously Sci-Fi Channel), and he was among the writers staff of the Italian science fiction sit-com "Italiani nello spazio" (Italians in Space), produced by Fox International Channels Italy and aired by FOX.
