Daniel Colt is a Los Angeles based actor who graduated with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in Acting for Film from the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, where he studied with several established professionals including members of the Actors Studio (Cathy Giannone, Cecelia Specht, Bob Lipton) and Emmy nominee George McGrath. Some of his recent work includes co-writing and starring as a schizophrenic in the dark horror play "The Institute" directed by Denis McCourt and reprising the same role in the film adaptation directed by Michael McCartney. Playing various roles from a college kid, to a reverend, and even a killer in "The Laramie Project" directed by Maria Gobetti. He also wrote, co-produced, and starred in the psychological drama short "Holding On". Apart from acting Daniel enjoys watching films, spending time with his family and friends, and playing a variety of musical instruments.
