William Jones Born in Sandusky, OH At the tender age of 1 years old he got burned all over his chest and body. William has had over 29 surgeries on his head including Brain tumor removal , reconstructive , and , skin grafts. At a young age he experienced being out cast and bullying which led to him becoming a musical creative and overall creative which kick started his career as a songwriter. By demo songs and references and posting them on YouTube while recovering in the hospital . William got his first big break in music by winning local contest in Cleveland Ohio called "Summerjamz" in 2011 by getting the most votes on a radio contest . Which gave national exposure as a writer. In Sept. Of 2018 William relocated to Los Angeles, CA for outside music and acting where in 2021 he landed his first national TV break with TLC network "Bad Hair Day" which focuses on his struggle with hair and not being able to grow hair and partnering with "Hair Club" to help him get hair again. In late 2022 he under went brain surgery which made his seizures increase dramatically where he fell down the stairs and broke all the front of his teeth and had to have emergency oral surgery. William had had temporary flippers to hide the fact he didn't have teeth to fit in with Hollywood. William never let that get him down he still fought and went to college at Musician Institute where he attended in Hollywood and got accepted into Debra Byrd renowned Vocal Coach vocal 2 year program. William then started producing music for music artist like Chris Brown , Lizzo and Diamond The Body. In 2024 William landed a casting on Zeus Network's "Smile LA" launched by Celebrity Dentist Dr Trevor Thomas . Where William fights through getting new teeth seizures and his hair loss. Now under the new name Will The Standard which he came up with because he feels that everything you do in life you should set a standard . William and his huge personality has gotten him far and wants his audience and fans to know that no matter how funny or spontaneous you are hard work and staying persistent will remain paramount ! With a new smile and new attitude Will The Standard is here to not only make you laugh but lead the way for those have given u or wanna give up to see him succeed and know they can do it too. Whether through music , on screen or writing he set a trail for others to follow.
