Stefanie Peti resides between Los Angeles and New York. She is a method actress, humanitarian, and screenwriter. Born into a family of both European and Latin American descent, she was raised between Spain and Uruguay. She has triple nationality, Spanish, Uruguayan and American. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and is fluent in Catalan, Italian and Portuguese. After graduating from Arts and performance bachelor's degree, her talent and determination led her to the Belles Arts at the University of Barcelona. Soon after completing her degree she started to work internationally in several advertising campaigns and commercials.
In 2015, Stefanie moved to Los Angeles, California to continue studying at the worldwide renowned "Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute". Later on she continued to hone her craft on the Stanislavski Method this time studying at "Stella Adler studio of acting". The skills derived from Stefanie's time at both studios enhanced her ability to be an actress capable of transforming and altering her roles in a natural way, to analyze scripts, and to apply her understanding of the diverse nature of human experience to each role. Over the last two years, she has continued to devote time to mastering her craft at the "Ivana Chubbuck Studio" in Hollywood. She has appeared in the leading role of Sofia Rojas, an FBI agent, on the family crime drama "Black Blood" on Amazon Prime. She has also appeared in Ballers and Minx in HBO and another multiple TV series and films such as Love Sonia, Oh boy!, This is how I lost my virginity, Criminal Minds, Sugar, Exorcism, Date and Out of the blue.
Stefanie is inspired by the people and places she has come to know through her extensive global travels and has furthered her understanding and compassion for people of all cultures. Said understanding can be seen in every one of her roles. She has lived in seven countries and visited nearly seventy others. She has traveled on humanitarian aid missions to Africa and continues to work with international organizations that advocate for children's education and advocates on behalf of eradicating child sexual abuse and trafficking. Stefanie continues to seek projects that tap into her independent spirit, emotional strength and make a positive contribution to different social communities. Stefanie loves contemporary art, literature, and poetry.
Her goals are to be able to direct her own scripts with stories of real people, with real problems in an extraordinary situations, inspired communities and speak up be the voice to the voiceless.
