Pierre Sabrou studied at the University Paris Diderot and Luc Besson's Ecole de la Cité, and has since directed over 20 shorts films, mainly fiction but also some documentaries and experimental movies. His shorts - including 'Goes Without Saying (Ca va sans dire) and The Hesitant Man (L'Indécis) - were nominated over a hundred times, and have received more than 30 awards. He is also a writer, and works for several production companies and firms. He worked as an assistant director for Luc Besson, Mélanie Laurent, Anne Fontaine and François Ozon.
