Jhomar Suyom

Jhomar Suyom, an islander from the Philippines grew up in Vancouver's former capital, New Westminster. With such high energy and a natural curiosity for life, he began his dance training during his teenage years with Harbour Dance Centres Intensive Program also known as ITP. The program was under the direction of HDC's owners Moe Brody and Pamela Rosa.
After completing a year with ITP, he then transitioned with The Source Dance Company, under the direction of Joanne Pesusich. During the 3 years under Joanne, he was training various styles such as contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, freestyle and many more. Jhomar was working with well known local and international choreographers where a few are listed below: * Paul Becker, Once Upon A Time * Tony Tesata, Disney Descendants 2 * Mandy Moore, Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist
In February of 2017, Jhomar made his debut in a local short film called "Iridescence" under the direction of Max Beauchamp and Kent Donguines. "Iridescence" was featured in film festivals including but not limited to UK Film Review, Cascadia Film Festival and Snowdance Film Festival and won the award for best LGBTQ short, the International Creation award and Best Student Short at Qcinema. In 2019, he was co-starred in CW's TV Series "Two Sentence Horror Story" as 'Jordan' directed by Chase Joynt.
Jhomar continues his intensive dance training at various dance studios including Harbour Dance Centre and Scotiabank Dance Centre, while spreading his love and passion for acting, personal training and botany.
