-Antoni Castonguay was born in Quebec City, Canada, to an entrepreneur father and an actress mother. He came into contact with the local theatre scene at an early age, and was particularly impressed by plays such as Robert Lepage's "La Face cachée de la lune", Wajdi Mouawad's "Les Trois soeurs" and Martin Genest's "L'Oiseau vert". With a passion for languages, he spent a year in Berlin, where he learned German and Spanish, before returning to Quebec to enter the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Montréal the following year. It was during his time at the Conservatoire that he began learning music, through singing and guitar. A puppeteer in his spare time and amateur martial artist since his teens, he is one of Montreal's up-and-coming artists.
