- Director
Shelby is an actor, photographer, and filmmaker living in New York City. Born to two teachers- chemistry and band- she quickly developed her talents in both music and athletics (her dad was her coach growing up). She graduated from Michigan State University with degrees in Acting and Media & Information, where she translated her natural athleticism into a proficiency in stage combat, earning actor combatant distinction from the SAFD. She is also a freelance photographer, and has recently shot for The Public and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. A multi-faceted talent, Shelby's experience on the other side of the camera informs her professionalism on set, making her an asset to any production.
She made her television debut in Season 3 of Wu-Tang: An American Saga, and recently played Denise Mamet on FBI. She also held a supporting role in the Sundance-premiered feature film Dinner in America.
