Juan Raymundo Ramos is a Los Angeles-based film editor, director, and writer with a diverse portfolio spanning narrative films, documentaries, music videos, promotional content, PSAs, and commercials. Since 2015, he has worked extensively as both a scripted and non-scripted editor and assistant editor.
Ramos is the producer, writer, and editor behind the award-winning short film "Life Line," which won Best Short Film and Best Editing at various film festivals across Los Angeles. His directorial work, "Ang Huling Adobo," was an Official Selection at the 2023 FilAmCreative Film Festival and the 2023 San Diego Filipino Film Festival. Additionally, he produced and edited the Filipino-American feature film, "TAHANAN (Home)," which had a festival run from 2022 to 2023 and is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Currently, Ramos serves as the Assistant Editor for OUTWORDS, an oral history archive dedicated to preserving and sharing the stories of LGBTQIA2S+ elders throughout the United States.
As a co-founder of Howling Gale Entertainment, Ramos is committed to crafting stories that do more than entertain-they aim to inspire positive change and highlight diverse perspectives. His work with the company reflects his dedication to creating meaningful and impactful narrative projects.
