Fraser Precious is an Award Winning Producer, Director, Writer, Actor and Musician from England. Originally a classical musician, Fraser won a music scholarship at the age of 11 to the prestigious Sedbergh School in the North of England, where he excelled on the trumpet. Fraser then went on to achieve university diplomas in music at the age of 14 and 16 while touring the world with various bands and ensembles.
After graduating in 2006, Fraser moved to Sydney, Australia where he was offered a scholarship at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music to undertake a Bachelor of Music performance degree. Fraser spent the next 4 years performing at the highest level as a professional trumpet player while continuing his studies at the Conservatorium. Fraser most notably performed in the Sydney Opera House several times, for Verdi's Requiem and with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. During this time Fraser experienced a series of unfortunate events that resulted in him struggling with his own mental health and ending up homeless on the streets. Following a short battle on the street to regain his will to live and love of music, Fraser came back stronger and ended up falling in love with the film industry, firstly through acting.
Fraser completed his music degree in 2011 and moved to Stockholm, Sweden where he was offered a position as Head of Music at an International School. For the next 3 years Fraser taught music, performed all over Stockholm and trained himself as a producer and actor, working in local theater's and with short films and commercials. In 2014, Fraser was offered a scholarship to study at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles and subsequently moved his life to LA to continue his training and pursue his next dream. After graduating in 2015 Fraser produced and enjoyed lead roles in 4 feature films, multiple short films, a TV pilot, commercials, music videos and more. It was during his time in LA that Fraser developed his producing, directing and writing his own projects while making a name for himself in Hollywood. Since returning to London in 2017, Fraser produced, wrote and starred in the indie feature film 'Indulgence' before making his directorial debut with 'Safeguard', a bi-lingual Japanese inspired action thriller feature film.
Over the past 6 years Fraser has been developing a feature film called 'A Precious Life' based on his previous experience as a classical trumpet player in Sydney. In 2017, Fraser wrote, produced, directed and starred in the short film concept of 'A Precious Life' which premiered at Cannes Film Festival in 2018. Since then, Fraser has won multiple awards for the short including Best Short Film, Best Actor and Best Screenplay for A Precious Life. With the aim of one day making the feature film for 'A Precious Life', Fraser has many other projects in development including a TV Series, several feature films and a documentary about homelessness and mental health.
