- James has always had a love of storytelling. As a teenager he would use his parents camcorder to make short films with his best friend Chris. He joined the US Navy in 1992 . He worked on the flight deck of two aircraft carriers. The USS Ranger (CV-61) as part of the Aviation Fuels Division (V4/Grapes) and then on the USS Constellation (CV-64) while serving as a Plane Captain with Sea Control Squadron VS-38 (Fighting Red Griffins). He served two combat tours in the Persian Gulf and one off the coast of Somalia (Operation Restore Hope). Upon leaving the Navy he attended the University of Southern Mississippi. Majoring in Film Production and Minoring in Theater. He then went on to spending nearly 15 years as a photojournalist with various news organizations across the nation and the world. James has worked with/for: CNN, ESPN, FOX News, ABC, CBS, NBC, Bloomberg, Al Jazeera, and The Australian Broadcasting Company. He worked two seasons on the Motorsports program "The World of Outlaws: Sprint Series" (The Outdoor Channel) as a cameraman. In 2015 James decided to put all his time and effort into building up his own small production company Buccaneer Pictures. In 2023 James moved Buccaneer Pictures to Milton, FL to be near the sugar white sands of Pensacola Beach, and just a short drive to family in Biloxi.- IMDb Mini Biography By: James M Myers

- James is an accomplished sailor. Often sailing in the San Francisco Bay, with friends and family. He is a member of Modern Sailing Academy and Club in Sausalito where he took classes and has several certifications through the American Sailing Association (ASA).
